Alan's Marathon Part One!

Scooby Doo, aka Alan Hackett ran the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 21st April 2010. What better way to prepare for London than running a full 26.2 the week before. Alan who defied all advice of tapering the week before completed the course in 6:39:24 actually recording a negative split too. We look forward to a picture in the fancy dress costume.

Relax After The Marathon

Why not join us for a relaxing meal after the London Marathon? Tom Sullivan is arranging a meal at the Maycart (Telegraph) on Friday 30th April after the club run. Let Tom know on a club night if you would like to come so he can book enough spaces. No deposit to pay, just order and pay on the night.

Good Luck Marathoners!!!

Below is a selection of the NRR team who will be making the trip to the nation's capital on Sunday to take on the might of the London Marathon!

Jo Smith is running for the charity Ectodermal Dysplasia Society and she is looking forward to the day. Karen Townsend is running on behalf of Cynthia Spencer Hospice, a great local charity. Jo Windrum is running for CLAPA (Cleft Lip And Palate Association) because in May last year her son Freddie was born with a cleft. Father and son Mark and Dave Garrett are running. Mark is celebrating his 50th on 20th April so what better way to party by running the street of London?
