Another great turnout from NRR at the second round of the popular East Midland Grand Prix at Rugby. After a flat start at Silverstone last week, runners were treated to an undulating country route starting at Hillmorden.
Danson Njoka was first to finish with another great performance in 34:45, he was 14th overall. Tony Letts was 31st in a time of 36:24 and Carrick Baldwin was flying, finishing in 38:41.
Rosanna Andrews was 2nd F20 in 39:06 and Pete Moor was next to finish in 40:18 just seconds ahead of Stuart Drummond in 40:59.
Ronnie Ambrose crossed the line in 41:52 and Adrian Tuck followed in 42:22 before Darren Baldwin 43:27 and Charlotte Yarker 45:28, who enjoyed a battle to the line with Beckie Hollowell 45:35.
Penny Andrews continued her comeback in 46:11 and Andy Cottrell enjoyed a good run in 47:04 seconds ahead of Wendy Parker in 47:06. Eamon Kennedy was pleased to break 50 minutes in 49:13
Elaine Palmer came home in 51:15 ahead of Suzanne Baldwin 52:19, Jim Anderson 52:20 and then the Sullivans, Mary and Tom in 53:59. Jo Cummings crossed the line in 57:24 and Richard Rose completed a great line up in 58:42.14 Danson Njoka 34:45
