Watlington 10K

The Watlington 10K in the Chilterns is highly recommended on the race calender by three Northampton Road Runners. It's a tough cross country course with two really steep hills and several stiles and gates. You need to watch your footing most of the time but its easy to be distracted by amazing views over the Oxfordshire plain and red kites circling overhead.

A small, friendly event saw Tony Letts finish 2nd overall in 43:37.  Jocelyn Granger broke the hour in 59:20 and Jo Cummings finished in 67.29

They do a winter race in December over the same route so keep your eyes open for the date and it will be a good addition to our cross country league.
