Rugby 10 and Cart Hill...

A couple of years ago the Rugby Ten used to be a modest, flat two lap route around a resiviour. The organisers have changed the route now and it runs from Barby village and through some beautiful countryside with rolling hills, including Cart Hill, a killer climb of over one mile.

Five of NRR's finely tuned athletes rose to the challenge recording some great times. Ronnie Ambrose bagged a PB with a time of 1:12:34. Next home was Mark Kennedy in 1:16:04, just four seconds over his PB. Jim Anderson made his 10 mile debut and judging his half marathon times, he was delighted with a 1:23:39 finish.
Next to the ladies and Sue Thopson was delighted to have entered the race so early that she was sporting the race number 1 on her vest. She finished in 1:35:30. Christie Ford also made her 10 mile debut and finished in 1:36:01.

40 - 1:12:34 - Ronnie AMBROSE
58 - 1:16:04 - Mark KENNEDY
93 - 1:23:39 - Jim ANDERSON
137- 1:35:30 - Sue THOMPSON
141- 1:36:01 - Christie FORD
