Muddy Marvellous Irchester...

Eight NRR runners took on the Irchester Multi Terrain Challenge on Sunday 16th January.  The popular event offers a choice of 5K, 10K and 15K distances in multiple laps around the beautiful country park.  Some sections are run on challenging sticky muddy surfaces and early in the laps is a challenging climb up a steep slippy bank.

Sally Garrett took on the 5K challenge and enjoyed a time of 34:45 finishing with her trademark smile.  The 10K pair crossed the line together, Jim Anderson and Jo Lee finished in 52:17 after meeting each other late into the second lap.

Lynton Dawson finished the 15K in an impressive 20th spot overall recording a time of 1:02:56.  Off road fan Mark Garrett was only places behind in a time of 1:05:33.  Maree Jesson, fresh from her MK Park Run the day before, came home in 1:07:08 and Mark Kennedy was close behind in 1:07:23.  Ronnie Ambrose continued to fight his injury with a 1:11:06 finish.
