Five Northampton Road Runners arrived in Banbury for the fifth race in the East Midlands Grand Prix Series. Gary McDaniels was first to arrive at the finish in an impressive time of 32:22. Richard Franks continued his good for with a time of 33:29. Steve Prior crossed the line in 36:07, Mick Clarke finished in 40:35 and Alan Hackett in 53:21.
