A huge turnout of 26 Northampton Road Runners decended on East Carlton Country Park for the Corby Five on Wednesday 30th May.

There were some fine performances which included a 20th place overall finish for Danson Njoka who was only seconds off breaking 30 minutes in 30:08.  Rosanna Andrews was also first F20 in 32:09 and Carrick Baldwin flew the flag for the male juniors finishing second M20 in 33:24.  Jocelyn Granger also scooped the first F50 placing in 39:45.

Tony Letts continued his brilliant form finishing in 30:35 and Nic Radoslav made a welcome return to the club with a respectable 33:25 time.  Ever present in the EMGP this year, Peter Moor enjoyed a good run in 34:11 finishing just ahead of John Fleming 34:33.  Adrian Tuck completed his first race of the year in 34:59 and Ronnie Ambrose finished in 35:54 just ahead of Richard Franks in 36:01.

Martin Andrews was next to finish in 37:20 just before Charlotte Yarker who had a good run in 37:31.  Penny Andrews crossed the line in 38:19 followed by Rob Donovan in 38:25 and Dave Blackburn in 39:25.

The claret and yellow stripes continued to flow across the line with Andrew Pate (41:17), Jo Lee (41:21) and Suzanne Baldwin (42:39) all next to finish.  Darren Byfield (43:03) and Dave Knowley (43:38) were close behind followed by a welcome return from injury by Wendy Parker who was bang on 44 minutes.  Jo Cummings (46:13), Kirsty Turner (48:47), Helen Blackburn (50:01) and Richard Rose (50:29) all beat the thunder storms to complete a great line up.
