Banbury Five

A good turnout of eleven Northampton Road Runners completed Round Five of the East Midlands Grand Prix series at Banbury on Wednesday 12th June.

Danson Njoka finished 15th overall with an impressive time of 28:42 and Tony Letts also broke 30 minutes in 29:38. Peter Moor's presence at the local Parkruns is certainly paying off as he recorded an impressive 32:45. Martin Andrews battled it out with Darren Baldwin to finish in 35:30 just ahead of Darren in 35:46. Steve Prior continued his marathon recovery with his return race in a time of 38:59.

For the ladies, Rosanna Andrews continued to impress for the ladáies with a 31:41 fast enough to be 3rd lady overall and again 1st F20. Charlotte Yarker enjoyed a good run in 36:24 and Penny Andrews was 4th F45 in 36:28. Jo Lee came home in 39:33 and Suzanne Baldwin in 42:48.  The ladies team were 4th on the night overall.
