Despite England taking on the Ukraine clashing with the Harborough Five, a hearty seventeen Northampton Road Runners turned out on the undulating course on the Northants/Leics border.
Finishing in 12th overall on the night was Danson Njoka in 28:22 and Tony Letts was a second under the half hour barrier in 29:59. Peter Moor had another great run finishing in 33:36 and 149 Rob Donovan and Tom Sullivan enjoyed a personal race arriving at the finish in 38:16 and 38:50 respectively. Mick Clarke returned from injury and finished in 46:13 just ahead of Richard Rose in 48:50.
For the ladies, Rosanna Andrews continued to dominate the F20 category, yet again finishing at the top of the pile in 31:41. Charlotte Yarker and Penny Andrews were withing three seconds of each other in 36:42 and 36:45. Jocelyn Granger recorded another great time in 39:02 and next home was Suzanne Baldwin (42:47) and Jo Cummings (45:55). Kirsty Turner had a good run in 47:22 and was closely pursued by Caroline Cope in 47:34 and Mary Kingsnorth in 47:38 with Ann Dickson not far behind in 48:17.
