Part two of the East Midlands Grand Prix Series left the county to Warwickshire for the Rugby 6, an undulating countryside route with a tough climb from 4-5miles.

NRR turned out in force with 19 members running.  There were great performances at the front, David Green was 5th overall with a fantastic finish time of 32:13 and Tony Letts was 1st M45 in 34:41. Stu Drummond was next to finish in 38:32 just ahead of Dan Gosling who recorded a brilliant 39:57.

Adrian Tuck crossed the line in 40:39 with Dave Whatton finishing in 42:15 and Pete Moor in 42:34.  Darren Byfield sneaked in the top 200, placed 199th in 44:50.

Jon Dilworth was next in 46:52 ahead of John Eales in 47:51 and Gavin Harris continuing his series debut (48:43)

Jocelyn Granger was the first lady home for the club in 49:26 followed by
Mary Sullivan (52:41) with Mark Lewis between in 50:30. Tom Sullivan finished in 52:43 and Jo Letts in 55:33 followed by Avrav Kour (57:25).

A huge well done to Helen Gardner who tok part in her first ever competitive race in 59:58...just breaking that hour milestone. Carole Whatton completed a fantastic line up in 61:16.
