A good crowd or NRR runners turned out for the Friday Five, one of the favourites on the running calender. Gary McDaniels raced home first for the club in 31.32 and Maree Jesson made her return on the local scene with a 33.09, 3rd in her age category. Steph Russell recorded an impressive 35.21 on the hilly course and Richard Franks finished in 37.18.
Next to cross the line was Sue White in 40.34 and club legend Micky Bhogal finished in 41.26. Wendy Parker came home next in 43.20 and then Colin Bricher in 43.53. Sue Thonson was 3rd in her age category in 46.06 and Patrick Breyden finished in 48.17. Keren Irving broke the one hour barrier in 59.06.
