Wellington Boots were not needed for the Wellingborough Five on Sunday 1st August as a nice little crowd made the short hop up the road for another favourite on the race calander.
Gary McDaniels took to the streets and finished in an impressive 31:08 only one place ahead of Lynton Dawson in 31:11. Steph Russell flew round the countryside and finished in 34:12 and Charlotte Yarker continued her good form with a 36:49 finish. Richard Franks crossed the line in 38:09 and Tom Sullivan wasn't far behind in 38:57. Mick Clarke also broke the 40 minute barrier in 39:29. Mary Kingsnorth came home in 42:49 and Alan Hackett finished in 42:49.
